A programme developed to equip citizens with an in-depth understanding of the fundamentals of the law.

The Universal Declaration of   Human Rights outlines those basic human rights which every person should enjoy, no matter where they live or who they are. The preamble to this Declaration calls on "every individual and every organ of society" to "strive by teaching and educating to promote respect for these rights and freedoms."

As a Company whose mission it is to enforce and defend the rights of South Africans, LegalWise is committed to providing access to justice by educating our communities on the basics of the Constitution through our Citizenship Education Programme.

The Programme was developed to equip citizens with an in-depth understanding of the fundamentals of the law, raising awareness of the rights enshrined in the Bill of Rights and ensuring their ability to make informed decisions for themselves and their families.

As part of this commitment, LegalWise was privileged to partner with the Mogale City Municipality, hosting a two-day Citizenship Education workshop with Community Liaison Officers from Kagiso, Muldersdrift, Magaliesburg and Munsieville districts, providing them with knowledge on topics such as the jurisdiction of the courts, domestic violence, maintenance and protection orders. By building a solid foundation of knowledge of the fundamentals of law, Ward Officers will be equipped to transfer this knowledge to the communities they serve.
