Membership Agreement update

Changes to the LegalWise Membership Agreement.

Effective from 1 July 2026.

We have added a new clause to Section 9 of the Membership Agreement. This change, enables us to pursue a more practical resolution where the traditional legal process may be slow or costly. 

Where applied, we will assess the merits early and seek a fair, efficient outcome, potentially avoiding lengthy proceedings. Our goal is to reduce legal costs, save time, and minimise stress for our Members, while achieving fair outcomes. This process is applied at LegalWise's discretion and cannot be requested by Members.

This is the added clause in Section 9.

We may at Our absolute discretion offer a cession of the Member’s claim at any stage of proceedings, if we believe that the cession would lead to a speedy and appropriate resolution to the matter.
