
The application process for the LegalWise Member Bursary Programme opens on 1 August 2022. In preparation for the 2023 academic year, LegalWise invites bursary applications from LegalWise Members and their children who have already completed or are currently completing their first year of study towards one of the following degrees at an approved public university: LLB, BCom (Law), BA (Law), BCom (Accounting), BCom (Human Resource Management), BCom (Management), BCom (Industrial Psychology), BSc/ BCom (Informatics) and BIS (Information Science).
The following additional selection criteria apply:
- Applicants must provide proof that they are the child of a LegalWise Member or a LegalWise Member themselves. This Membership must have been active for at least two years.
- Applicants must provide proof of registration from the relevant university.
- Applicants must have achieved at least a “C” aggregate (60 %) academically in the previous year of tertiary study.
- Successful applicants will be required to fulfil a service level obligation with the Company following the completion of their degree.
