We are pleased to announce the launch of our new face-to-face video consultations.
Members can now enjoy face-to-face consultations on either a WhatsApp video call or on Zoom. The launch is a tangible step to improve access to legal services and in so doing, the new service plays a small but meaningful role in breaking down the geographic and physical barriers to justice.
“During the recent LegalWise Attorney Conference, Mr. Ronald Lamola, Minister of Justice and Correctional Services delivered a keynote address in which he stressed, that within the context of the socio-economic inequalities that exist within our society, there is still work that needs to be done to develop our justice system to make it more accessible,” commented LegalWise South Africa CEO, Siva Gengan. “The new video consultations will ensure that our Members can consult with a Legal Counsellor, from anywhere in the country while still being able to put a face to a name.”

How to consult on a WhatsApp Video Call
Step 1
Schedule the appointment by calling 010 140 0710 or 086 142 7777, e-mail legal@legalwise.co.za or add us as a contact on WhatsApp (071 640 0337), say 'Opt In' and follow the menu options or speak to a Host in a Branch.
Step 2
We will schedule the consultation on your behalf and will confirm the date and time by SMS.
Step 3
Add us as a contact on WhatsApp (071 640 0337) if you haven't done so already.
Step 4
When we start the WhatsApp video call, you will receive a message asking you to join.
Step 5
Join the video call.*

How to consult on Zoom
Step 1

Step 2
We will schedule the consultation on your behalf and will confirm the date and time by SMS.
Step 3
We will send you an e-mail confirming the appointment date and time and will include a link to the appointment on Zoom.
Step 4
At the time of the appointment you will need to click on the link provided in the e-mail to join Zoom.
